The route
Your day, stop by stop
Coral Quest is designed for families, ocean lovers and curious minds of all ages. You set out from Bávaro, learn on land and in the water how coral is restored, and then see it with your own eyes.
Two departures a day. Each stop shows the morning / afternoon time.
DepartureFrom your hotel in Bávaro

Your first snorkel, in crystal-clear shallow water surrounded by artificial reefs. Perfect for beginners and experienced snorkelers alike: life jacket on, at your own pace, no minimum age.
You practice calmly before reaching the reef
Snorkeling in the Marine Park

Who welcomes you
The Foundation, since 2016
The Los Arrecifes de Bávaro Ecological Foundation works on four fronts: monitoring, education, ecological productivity and coral restoration.
In April 2024, the Dominican Ministry of Environment established the Laguna Arrecifal de Bávaro Ecological Recovery Area, covering 18.4 km² (Resolution 0008/2024, in Spanish).
